Hurricane Melissa caused widespread devastation across Jamaica. The western parishes were hit hardest: many Jamaicans lost their homes and many church buildings were destroyed.
Clarendon Parish, where we mainly minister, was not hit as hard — which means our partner churches are standing and able to help their neighbors. Christian Mission to Jamaica will continue to reach out to the Jamaican people, giving out the Gospel and helping them recover from Melissa. Your gift marked “Hurricane Relief” goes directly to that work.

Temple Baptist is the home base for our Vacation Bible School and screening clinics, and one of the churches where our teams preach every trip. It needs a new roof — and a church with a sound roof can serve its community rain or shine, hurricane season included.
